Summary Join a dedicated team in a collaborative and supportive work environment! As a member of the surgical team in the General Operating Room, the SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST provides technical assistance to the surgeon/physician during surgical intervention under the supervision of the RN. When not directly assisting the physician in a procedure, may participate in rendering patient care under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse. Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance to the surgeon/physician during surgical intervention under the supervision of the RN.

Assist in rendering patient care under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse when not directly assisting the physician during a procedure.

Maintain readiness and ensure proper setup of operating room equipment and instruments.

Support patient safety and adhere to National Patient Safety Goals.

Participate in a learning environment supportive and just, valuing teamwork.

Qualifications

Licensed Surgical Tech Diploma (must pass Diploma/graduation test).

American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS CPR Certification.

Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate (CST) within 24 months of hire.

Experience in operating room settings preferred (based on salary range).

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Licensed Surgical Tech Diploma (must pass Diploma/graduation test).

American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS CPR Certification.

Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate CST within 24 months of hire.
