Job Description We are looking for an innovative and strategic New Tech Systems Strategy/Enterprise Architect to join our forward-thinking organization. This role involves leading the design, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies that align with our business goals. The successful candidate will apply their knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to shape and enhance our technology landscape. This role will report to Director of Enterprise Architecture.

Technology Strategy Development

Develop and articulate a clear technology vision and strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals.

Identify emerging technologies that could enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and add value to our systems and processes.

Evaluate new technologies for their potential application within the organization.

Business Architecture

Ensure every technology investment directly supports business strategy through rigorous portfolio alignment analysis, strategic initiative assessment, and capability-driven investment prioritization

Value Realization & Benefits Management

Application portfolio rationalization, Portfolio analytics, Technology landscape mappingand technology stack rationalization

Collaboration And Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, business operations, product development) to ensure successful implementation of technology initiatives.

Collaborate with executive leadership to understand business challenges and define technology solutions.

Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment on strategic objectives.

Implementation And Integration

Lead the planning and execution of technology pilot programs and guide the full-scale implementations.

Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party solutions to support strategic objectives.

Monitor and guide the integration of new technologies into existing systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Research And Innovation

Continuously research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.

Champion a culture of innovation within the organization, encouraging teams to explore new ideas and technologies.

Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented technologies and iterate on strategies as needed.

Mentorship And Knowledge Sharing

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and technical teams.

Lead training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the organization’s technical capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

10 years of architecture experience across Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Solution Architecture and technology strategy

5 yearsBusiness Architecture covering capability modeling, strategic alignment, value stream mapping, Operating model design and organizational capability alignment, Business Process Architecture, etc.

Proven expertise with Portfolio & Technology Strategy including Application Portfolio Realization, Capability roadmapping, technology standardization and vendor consolidation

Proven expertise with Enterprise Architecture across multiple domains and end to end processes, such as Digital Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Commercial Excellence, Quote to Cash or similar

Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and drive consensus across diverse teams.

Strong understanding of architecture methodologies and modeling techniques and familiarity with one or mode of key architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman Framework or equivalent

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on strategic thinking.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

WE VALUE

Proven expertise in Enterprise Applications and Business processes in domains, such as Digital Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Commercial Experience, and associated processes with platforms like SAP, Salesforce, etc.

Manufacturing, Materials, Chemical, or Industrial sector experience (supply chain complexity, Engineering, R&D processes, regulatory environments, quality processes and systems like Teamcenter, Labvantage, ELN etc.)

Experience with ERP (SAP) and end to end processes in Order Management, Pricing, Finance

Exposure to composable commerce architecture, headless architecture, React Apps, Headless CMS etc.

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar) are a plus.

Experience with Architecture tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq, Abacus, ServiceNow EA etc.

Compensation The annual base range for this position is $170,000-$213,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations. This position is incentive eligible.
