Job Description
As an Automation Engineering Manager at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will play a pivotal role in driving automation initiatives across various business functions using multiple technology platforms. You will identify new opportunities for automation by analyzing business processes, develop new automation solutions, ensure the successful execution of automation bots and AI agents, and enhance operational efficiency. This role will significantly impact our automation strategy by bridging technical capabilities with business needs.
You will report to our Director IT, Data Analytics and Gen AI who oversees analytics and AI/ML & Gen AI delivery across the organization.
This position is ideal for a strategic thinker who can bring automation, process optimization, and Agentic AI together, driving digital transformation to new frontiers by moving from insights to action with AI/Gen AI advances.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Platform Expertise: Serve as a versatile subject matter expert across automation with AI/Gen AI technologies, RPA, and LCAP, with a comprehensive understanding of both technical processes and business operations.
Automation Service Delivery Leadership: Lead the design, build, and implementation of sophisticated automation bots & agents that meet complex business requirements while ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with enterprise objectives.
Automation Performance Management: Oversee the execution and performance of existing automation bots, ensuring they run efficiently & effectively.
Support and Maintenance: Lead ongoing support and maintenance initiatives for automation solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing necessary fixes to enhance performance and reliability and process improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams & business processes to identify automation opportunities and develop complete solutions that drive operational excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective automation solutions and actionable insights.
Documentation and Governance: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, including design specifications and operational procedures. Participate in steering committee meetings and provide thought leadership.
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in automation delivery, with a demonstrated impact across multiple functional domains.
Proficiency in multiple automation & AI/ML tools such as Azure AI, Cognitive services & Bot frameworks, Microsoft Power Platform, Workato, OutSystems, Automation Anywhere, Appian or similar, with a strong understanding of AI concepts and their application in automation.
Experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as SAP, SFDC, HCM and other enterprise applications to create seamless automation solutions.
Proven track record in developing, architecting end-to-end automation solutions that integrate multiple systems and deliver measurable business value.
Exceptional ability to interpret complex business and technical requirements, end-to-end processes and transform them into effective automation solutions.

Compensation The annual base salary range for this position is $185,000–$234,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice Advanced Materials considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, and market and business considerations.
