Candidate will work in a team environment utilizing Agile software methodologies and processes, autonomously work on complex tasks, assist with the full software development lifecycle, engage with customers for requirements Technical Engineering Meetings and demo’s, provide leadership to early career employees, and provide architectural insight to a large code base. Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities – designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems, applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
This position is based on funding in winter of 2025/2026.
Basic Qualifications
At least 3 years of technical experience as a Software Engineer in an Agile environment with proficiency in one or more of the following software languages: Java, C++, C#.
Security+ or CISSP/SSCP certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
TS/SCI with poly clearance is required.
Desired Skills
Knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards, unit testing and configuration management, database and system administration.
Strong communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to support and lead teams.
XML, Windows, .NET, and Linux system software and scripting development, web development, system analysis, system design, software design, software development and implementation, software test.
