Job Overview
Our client is a dynamic and growing Financial Services Company. They are seeking a motivated Salesforce Platform Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and user-friendly Salesforce solutions across our organization. This critical role will drive strategy and execution across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, FSC, and custom Salesforce applications, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical standards, and long-term platform health.
This role plays a key leadership position in defining and advancing a complex Salesforce environment. You will work closely with business partners, engineering teams, and enterprise architecture groups to design connected, scalable solutions that support both customer-facing and internal operations.
Responsibilities
Lead the overall design and evolution of the Salesforce platform across multiple clouds and products.
Convert business objectives and functional requirements into robust, long-term technical solutions.
Architect application components such as data structures, automation processes, custom code, and Lightning-based user interfaces.
Ensure solutions meet organizational standards for security, performance, scalability, and supportability.
Partner with development and deployment teams to maintain architectural alignment across development, testing, and production environments.
Create and maintain technical blueprints, solution patterns, and architectural guidelines.
Assess new Salesforce capabilities and third‑party tools to determine value and fit.
Support governance initiatives by contributing to architectural oversight forums and the Salesforce Center of Excellence.
Coordinate with application leadership on release schedules and environment management.
Shape consistent and intuitive user experiences across Salesforce applications.
Define UI and UX best practices using Lightning Experience, dynamic forms, screen flows, and custom-built components.
Collaborate with product and business teams to improve workflows, usability, and user adoption.
Design and manage integrations and data exchanges between Salesforce and enterprise platforms such as Azure, MuleSoft, and Snowflake.
Align Salesforce data structures with enterprise data standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Establish appropriate access controls, sharing rules, and data visibility models.
Act as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders, IT leadership, and delivery teams.
Provide technical coaching and guidance to Salesforce administrators and developers.
Work closely with security, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure alignment with broader technology strategy.
Participate in agile delivery activities including planning, refinement, and review sessions.
Required Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
At least seven years of experience designing and delivering Salesforce solutions within large-scale or highly integrated environments.
Extensive hands‑on knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud.
Demonstrated experience developing custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and APIs.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security frameworks, and integration approaches.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification.
Additional credentials such as Platform Developer II, Integration Architect, or Experience Cloud Consultant.
Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise technologies including MuleSoft, Azure, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
