We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in delivering high-quality outdoor maintenance services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance, and hands‑on experience in turf care, plans/shrubs, irrigation, and horticulture. This role involves supervising daily operations, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining client satisfaction through exceptional service delivery. This is a hands on position.
This is a in‑person position and you are required to be on site everyday. Our Office is located in Burlingame, CA within San Mateo County.
License and/or Certificate
Possession of a valid Class C California State Driver's License is required, with a clean driving background, no prior DWIs, Reckless, etc.
Possession of Qualified Applicators License/* Certification in Category B - Landscape Maintenanceor* be able to obtain within first 90 days of employment
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and irrigation system management.
Supervise a team of landscape technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient operations.
Plan and execute landscaping projects with attention to detail, quality standards, and client specifications.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
Manage equipment maintenance and inventory to ensure operational readiness.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations for landscape improvements.
Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion of services.
Promote a positive team environment that encourages professional growth and accountability.
Ensure 100% Client Satisfaction
Requirements
Prior experience as a Landscape Account Manager or Landscape Supervisor in a Commercial setting
Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, gardening, horticulture, or related fields.
Supervising or leadership experience within the landscaping or construction industry is required
Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care, maintenance practices, and construction techniques related to outdoor environments.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for coordinating team activities and interacting with clients.
Ability to operate or oversee the operation of landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license required; certification in horticulture or landscape management is a plus.
Be able to use a computer, iPhone and be proficient in replying to emails, calls/ texts.
Additional Notes
A minimum of 2-3 references is required for this position, working in a supervisory level position.
Clean Background is required & Real ID is required.
