Job Description Summary Job Summary PayPal's Compliance Platform team is seeking a Senior Platform Manager to drive the next generation compliance platform. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for leading solution identification and defining the next generation scalable and flexible compliance platform for launching compliance product across regions. This individual will create product solutions that will make Paypal compliant with the best customer experience and partner with technology team to scale the existing infrastructure. This job is an individual contributor.
Essential Responsibilities
Uses data to build insights on product or platform requirements consistent with the shared vision for the product.
Gathers insights from the customer experience and customer needs to input to product requirements.
Analyzes research, market analysis and usability studies, research and market analysis to support data-driven decision making.
Monitors product profitability measures, including budgeting.
Lead sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives to drive execution. Interfaces with product and technology leadership as needed.
Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers to identify new opportunities.
Expected Qualifications
3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Responsibilities And Preferred Qualifications
Develops a solid understanding of evolving AML/KYC regulations and translates requirements into actionable product needs.
Identifies opportunities for innovation and supports experimentation efforts (A/B tests, iterative design) to optimize KYC flows and reduce friction.
Works closely with Legal, Compliance, Policy, Engineering, and Design to ensure cross-functional alignment on regulatory interpretations, product decisions, and launch readiness.
Manages the product development lifecycle: refining requirements, prioritizing backlogs, and collaborating with scrum teams through sprint planning and execution.
Communicates requirements, trade-offs, and progress clearly to senior stakeholders, escalating risks early and ensuring transparency.
