Position Summary The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse functions, lead and develop warehouse staff, and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operations that support the overall success of the Profit Center.
Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:
Fully manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, routing, loading, shipping, and delivery preparation
Lead, hire, train, and schedule warehouse and delivery team members
Establish performance goals, conduct evaluations, and support staff development
Analyze KPIs and operational metrics to identify trends and drive process improvements
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Maintain compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and DOT regulations
Ensure accurate recordkeeping for warehouse activities, driver certifications, and equipment safety
Oversee maintenance of delivery vehicles and material handling equipment
Recommend warehouse equipment purchases and stay informed on industry best practices
Safeguard the security of warehouse operations, inventory, and property
Resolve delivery and receiving issues effectively and promptly
Complete all required safety and compliance training
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications Required
5+ years of warehouse receiving and material handling experience
College degree or equivalent industry experience
1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
Ability to safely operate a vehicle over 10,000 lbs (non-CDL)
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per company policy
Ability to pass a DOT physical at hire and every two years
Basic math skills and proficiency with standard office and warehouse systems
Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and warehouse safety regulations
Preferred
Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center
Experience managing warehouse operations or a similar environment
Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or emergency situations
Ability to quickly learn product lines and computer systems
Location Atlanta Metropolitan Area
Compensation $90,000–$110,000 annually
