HyerTek is seeking an experienced M365 Power Platform Architect to design, build, and lead enterprise‑grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform for federal government clients. This role is responsible for defining scalable, secure, and high‑performing low‑code architectures across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and integrated Azure services.
The Power Platform Architect will serve as a senior technical leader, partnering closely with engineering leadership, developers, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver modern solutions that meet functional requirements, security standards, and operational expectations. The ideal candidate brings deep hands‑on expertise with Power Platform internals, strong architectural judgment, and experience operating in regulated environments.
Requirements
The M365 Power Platform Architect will lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise Power Platform solutions. Responsibilities include:
Architecting and implementing Power Apps (Model‑Driven and Canvas) solutions integrated with Dataverse, Azure services, and external systems using standard and custom connectors
Defining solution architecture, environment strategy, ALM patterns dependency management, and deployment approaches across development, test, and production environments
Designing and developing reusable components, including PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) controls and custom connectors
Leading application lifecycle management using Azure DevOps and Power Platform Build Tools, including CI/CD pipeline implementation
Implementing PowerFx‑based logic, governance controls, and performance optimization across Power Platform environments
Designing and supporting Power Automate workflows to streamline and automate business processes
Developing and integrating Power BI dashboards and reports into Power Platform solutions
Leveraging Copilot Studio and AI Builder to incorporate AI capabilities where appropriate
Collaborating with cloud, security, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with identity, access control, data protection, and least‑privilege principles
Troubleshooting complex Power Platform issues and coordinating resolution with cross‑functional technical teams
Conducting code reviews, solution assessments, and architectural evaluations
Mentoring developers and promoting best practices across the team
Producing and maintaining technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and design artifacts
Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 7‑10 years of relevant experience,
Deep expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven), PowerFx, Dataverse, and Power Platform administration
Strong experience with Power Automate, Power BI integration, Copilot Studio, and AI Builder
Proven experience designing enterprise‑scale Power Platform architectures
Hands‑on experience with PCF controls, custom connectors, REST APIs, and OAuth‑based integrations
Strong background in Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Active Directory, and Azure DevOps
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform solutions
Proficiency with JSON, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, SQL, and Power Platform CLI/Build Tools
Excellent communication skills with experience engaging technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Dataverse data modeling, governance, and security
Experience integrating Power Platform with SharePoint, Teams, Planner, Dynamics 365, and other Microsoft 365 services
Prior experience in Agile/Scrum and DevOps‑driven environments
Experience supporting large‑scale environments
Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and records management requirementsDemonstrated leadership and mentoring experience
Work Authorization, Clearance & Location Requirements This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) clearance. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Salary Range:
$120,000 – $155,000 annually, depending on experience, technical depth, and clearance eligibility.
