Patent Prosecution Attorney (5G/6G and 3GPP)
Base pay range: $200,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr
Job Overview We’re seeking a patent prosecution attorney with a strong background in wireless communications to support a growing portfolio of advanced technology work. This role centers on innovations involving 5G systems, mmWave technologies, 3GPP standards, and related telecom infrastructure.

What You’ll Do
Prepare and prosecute patent applications involving wireless standards, RF technology, signal processing, and telecommunications protocols
Partner with engineers and inventors to capture complex technical concepts and convert them into well‑crafted filings
Advise on portfolio development, standards‑related strategies, and competitive positioning within rapidly evolving wireless ecosystems
Evaluate disclosures, prior art, and claim scope relating to 5G, mmWave, and 3GPP‑aligned technologies
Manage U.S. and international prosecution with autonomy, including examiner interviews and Office Action strategy
Support broader IP initiatives, including continuation planning and long‑term portfolio alignment
What We’re Looking For
At least 5 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience
Technical depth in wireless communications, ideally including 5G, mmWave, and/or 3GPP standards
USPTO registration
A technical degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or a related field
Proven ability to draft high‑quality, technically sophisticated patent applications
Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with advanced engineering teams
Experience managing complex portfolios independently is a plus
