Overview As a Principal Product Marketing Manager, you’ll define how Intuit brings its platform innovation and QuickBooks ecosystem to market. You’ll craft compelling narratives that connect customer needs to product magic, driving growth through bold, insight‑driven marketing. Partnering across Product, Brand, Research, and GTM, you’ll shape how millions of customers experience the value of Intuit’s platform and help write the next chapter of our transformation story.

Responsibilities

Shape the Platform Narrative: Lead the platform positioning narrative that informs GTM execution and translates platform innovation into clear, inspiring customer‑backed messaging in collaboration with QuickBooks ecosystem product marketing teams.

Evolve the Platform Messaging Playbook: Own and refine the Platform Messaging Hierarchy, partnering with Market Research, Content Design, and Product Marketing peers to align with customer insights and business priorities.

Drive GTM Release Strategy: Lead major and minor GTM release strategies, coordinating target audiences, product launches, and customer pain points to inform GTM channel teams.

Drive Campaign Excellence: Lead quarterly prospecting campaigns that drive acquisition and engagement for the QuickBooks ecosystem, defining messaging strategy and “magic moments,” guiding integrated marketing and agency partners, and ensuring creative reflects product truths and customer insights.

Partner with Brand: Collaborate with Branding on major campaigns to ensure product marketing strategy and messaging hierarchy manifest clearly in creative assets, product explainers, and brand storytelling.

Lead Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Build trusted relationships across GTM, Product, Design, and Strategic Communications to ensure seamless execution and consistent messaging across all touchpoints.

Qualifications Experience & Expertise

12+ years in product marketing, go‑to‑market strategy, or related roles in SaaS, technology, or consumer marketing.

Proven success leading product or platform positioning and executing large‑scale integrated campaigns.

Deep experience partnering with creative agencies, product design, and brand teams to deliver unified campaigns.

Strong analytical skills—adept at using customer and market data to inform insights, positioning, and recommendations.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (MBA a plus).

Leadership & Influence

Confident communicator able to influence and align stakeholders across marketing, product, and executive levels (VP/SVP).

Leads with insights and advocates for customer needs across the organization.

Thrives in cross‑functional environments, bringing clarity and cohesion to complex initiatives.

Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills—able to simplify complexity and craft narratives that inspire action.

Balances creative intuition with data‑driven decision‑making.

Comfortable moving between strategy and execution, balancing long‑term narrative evolution with short‑term delivery.

Embraces experimentation, challenges assumptions, and drives innovation grounded in insight.

Compensation Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach, including cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. For this position, the expected base pay range is:

Bay Area – California: $197,000 – $266,500

New York: $198,000 – $268,000

San Francisco, CA: $100,000 – $156,000

Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender to ensure ongoing fair pay.
