Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Chicago, IL
A position is available for a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech‑language services at an elementary school in Chicago, IL. This contract role will run from January 5, 2026, through June 1, 2026, with a full‑time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations for elementary‑aged students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting in compliance with school policies
Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning
Desired Qualifications
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology preferred
Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required or equivalent experience
Experience working as an SLP in a school setting, particularly with elementary students
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
