Base pay range:
$150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
A leading valuation and advisory firm is seeking a talented Vice President/Director for Business Valuation. The position requires expertise in closely held company valuation, illiquid stock and bond valuation, intangible asset and intellectual property valuation, and related analytics such as economic damages, forensic analysis, and intercompany transfer pricing.
Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior analysts to prepare and review quantitative valuation and related analytics
Draft expert reports, deliver presentations, and support new client engagements
Provide financial advisory services for transaction, taxation, and litigation purposes
Cultivate client relationships to maintain and generate revenue
Demonstrate thought leadership through publications and professional activities
Serve as primary contact for major corporate and institutional clients
Qualifications
5-10+ years of experience preparing business valuation and expert witness reports
5+ years managing engagement workflow, directing staff, and interacting with clients
Proven thought leadership and experience in accounting and management due diligence
Ability to work collaboratively within teams
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Holds one or more of the following credentials: CPA, ABV, CFA, CBA, CVA, ASA
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics required
Master's degree or MBA preferred
