Job description:

• 1.Has good understanding of Powertrain Fixture design
• 2.Experience in:
• a. Powertrain Jig design based on the specification document
• b. 2D detailing as per customer Standards
• c. Part list creation
• d. Pneumatic/Hydraulic drawings for the equipment functions
• e. 3D modeling using CatiaV5 and 3DExperience
• f. Kinematics definition
• 3. Experience in taking design from concept through manufacturing and installation.
• 4. Able to perform basic engineering calculations to size machine components.
• 5. Able to analyze problems and implement improvements in existing designs and equipment.
• 6. Knowledge of metal removal cutting tools.
• 7. Project management experience
• 8. Perform basic FEA simulation using SolidWorks
• 9. Offshore coordination, scheduling & good communication
• 10. Interact with Client and stakeholders located at different location across North America & Canada to get required inputs and understand requirement
• 11. Open to Travel
• 12. SOFTWARES: Solidwork 2020, AutoCAD (MUST), MS OFFICE (MUST)
