Job Title: Industrial Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer with strong expertise in Powertrain fixture and jig design to support manufacturing engineering activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience taking designs from concept through manufacturing and installation, along with strong coordination and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop powertrain fixtures and jigs based on specification documents.
• Create 2D detailed drawings as per customer standards.
• Develop part lists, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings for equipment functionality.
• Perform 3D modeling using CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Define kinematics and support concept-to-installation design activities.
• Perform basic engineering calculations for sizing machine components.
• Analyze design issues and implement improvements in existing equipment and designs.
• Support basic FEA simulations using SolidWorks.
• Coordinate with offshore teams for scheduling, design reviews, and delivery.
• Interact with clients and stakeholders across North America and Canada to gather requirements.
• Support project management activities and be open to travel as required.

Required Skills & Tools:

• Strong understanding of powertrain fixture and jig design
• Knowledge of metal cutting and machining tools
• SolidWorks 2020, AutoCAD (Mandatory)
• CATIA V5, 3DEXPERIENCE
• MS Office (Mandatory)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
