About the Role
We are hiring an Amazon & Multi-Marketplace Performance Manager to own, optimize, and scale performance across Amazon (primary) and a large network of third-party marketplaces, including Faire, Wayfair, Walmart.com, and approximately 80 additional marketplace channels.
This is a hands-on, performance-driven role responsible for advertising efficiency, SKU-level optimization, and marketplace systems across a 6,000+ SKU catalog.
This role is not about managing agencies or posting listings.
You will build scalable frameworks, leverage overseas contractors, and ensure profitable execution across all marketplaces.
Core Responsibilities (Non-Negotiable)
Marketplace Ownership & Scale
- Full operational ownership of:
- Amazon (primary revenue driver)
- Faire, Wayfair, Walmart.com
- ~80 additional third-party marketplace platforms
- Manage and optimize 6,000+ SKUs across all channels
- Ensure pricing accuracy, compliance, and catalog health
- Coordinate SKU suppression, reinstatements, and content updates at scale
Advertising & Performance Optimization
- Own paid advertising strategy and execution across marketplaces:
- Amazon Sponsored Products, Brands, Display
- Marketplace-specific PPC and promotional tools
- Optimize for:
- ACOS / ROAS
- Conversion rates
- Contribution margin
- Revenue per SKU
- Scale winning SKUs; cut spend on underperformers
- Build repeatable ad frameworks deployable across multiple marketplaces
Offshore Contractor Leverage (Critical)
- Build and manage overseas contractor teams to scale:
- Ad creation and optimization
- Keyword research
- Bid management
- Listing updates and QA
- Create SOPs, playbooks, and quality-control standards
- Hold contractors accountable to KPIs and output expectations
A+ Content, Lifestyle Creative & Video
- Own deployment of:
- Amazon A+ content
- Lifestyle imagery
- Product and brand video
- Scale creative production using offshore teams
- Ensure content improves conversion and aligns with brand standards
- Adapt creative assets for use across all marketplace platforms
Reporting & Systems
- Monitor performance daily and weekly
- Identify risks before they impact revenue
- Deliver clear, actionable reporting to leadership
- Continuously improve systems to reduce manual work and firefighting
Required Experience
- Hands-on ownership of Amazon marketplace performance
- Direct management of Amazon Ads budgets
- Experience managing large SKU counts (thousands)
- Experience scaling performance across multiple marketplaces
- Proven ability to manage overseas contractor teams
- Strong understanding of:
- Marketplace algorithms
- Keyword and bid strategy
- Listing health and compliance
- Conversion optimization
