Our Client is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to guide a portfolio of innovative projects and a talented team of developers. The ideal candidate is passionate about modern engineering practices, cloud technologies, and creating impactful digital solutions that drive business transformation.
As a hands-on leader, youll manage a diverse team specializing in distributed microservices and full-stack development while fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and technical excellence. Youll work closely with product and engineering partners to build robust, cloud-based applications that deliver exceptional experiences for users and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Oversee multiple technology initiatives with a focus on scalability, security, and innovation. Drive adoption of modern technologies, including microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud computing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end digital products. Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the engineering community.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field. 4+ years of experience in software engineering (excluding internships). 1+ year of hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 2+ years of leadership or people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in a relevant discipline. 7+ years of experience with languages such as JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go. 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 4+ years working with open-source frameworks. 5+ years of experience managing high-performing teams. 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments.
