Chief Executive Officer – YMCA of the Golden Crescent, Victoria, TX 77902
Overview The YMCA of the Golden Crescent is an equal‑opportunity employer dedicated to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The new CEO will lead a growing, community‑focused YMCA serving roughly 10,000 members annually with an operating budget of approximately $7 million.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic plan with measurable goals and deliverables; lead change, communication, and program management.
Improve operating performance by developing annual tactical plans, forecasting needs, and managing day‑to‑day operations.
Lead fiscal management by forecasting trends, balancing the budget, guiding staff financial operation, and executing stewardship strategies.
Serve as ambassador for the YMCA, building relationships with stakeholders to position the organization as a vital partner for community change.
Build and lead staff by nurturing talent, fostering inclusion, and ensuring a culture of accountability.
Steward fundraising efforts by developing an annual plan, engaging donors, and advancing capital fundraising and major gifts.

Qualifications
Accredited 4‑year college degree (advanced degree preferred)
Minimum seven years of senior management experience in a YMCA or comparable organization
Proven fiscal management, budgeting, and financial stewardship record
Strategic planning and fundraising experience, including annual campaigns and grant securing
Ability to develop and strengthen community relationships
Knowledge of youth development, health & wellness, and community engagement programs
YMCA Organizational Leader Certification or ability to obtain within 3 years
Benefits & Salary Salary: $140,000–$160,000 (commensurate with experience)
YMCA retirement (7% Y, 5% employee) once eligibility met
YMCA 403b savings account (100% employee contribution)
Health plan (100% Y, 0% employee)
Paid Time Off per personnel policy
Minimum Criteria
Residence in Victoria County, Texas required
