Education & Experience

BS in EE, ME, or other physical/chemical sciences 3 years applicable experience in fabrication of semiconductor and/or thin film devices Knowledge of thin film fabrication processes, equipment failure analysis, thin film equipment component upgrade/modification High‑vacuum tool operation and troubleshoot/repair Photolithography process experience Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word Experience and knowledge on Statistical Process Control Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to the organization Experience with AutoCAD a plus

Skills

Mechanical design, Computer‑aided design (CAD)

Generate detailed drawings of systems and mechanical components

Transform designs into processes that improve chip yield

Waste Water Treatment Certification, Hazardous Material Training

Test Equipment Set up, Operation and Troubleshooting

Ability to work with limited supervision

Demonstrated ability to analyze wafer measurements and resolve issues related to measurements that are out of process capability

Ability to solve problems in a timely and quality manner

Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Ability to anticipate and handle multiple programs and priorities

Working Conditions

This position is on‑site

May require occasional off‑site meetings or travel

Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary

Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job

May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate the executive’s needs

Physical Requirements

Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.

Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.

Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.

Job Summary Support both manufacturing and development activities for fabrication of thin film tunable filters, including photolithography, wet/dry etch, thin film deposition, and metrology. Develop and document new processes for improvement of wafer and chip yield and reduction of chip fabrication cost and cycle time.
