Base Pay Range $130,000 - $175,000 per year
Position Overview Our client is a boutique investment bank with a national footprint and a deep specialization in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) sector. Headquartered in Cleveland, and with offices in Grand Rapids, Plano, and Southern California, they provide M&A advisory, capital raising, and strategic consulting services to clients across the financial services landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions within the FIG sector.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and industry professionals.
Oversee the preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books, and marketing materials.
Drive due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other advisors.
Mentor and supervise analysts and associates, fostering professional development and high performance.
Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and supporting senior bankers in client outreach.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or a related financial services role.
Strong transaction experience in FIG, with a preference for candidates with specialty insurance expertise.
Proven ability to lead deal execution and manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
Series 79 and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain).
Expected Compensation Base salary: $130k - $175k Discretionary bonus: up to 100%
