Introduction
The Thomas B. Finan Center is an inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Cumberland, Maryland. It is owned and managed by the state of Maryland and operates 88 beds. The Finan Center provides services to persons who are 18 years of age and older.

Location of Position Thomas B. Finan Center 10102 Country Club Road Cumberland, MD 21502
Main Purpose of Job This recruitment is for two part‑time contractual positions. Both positions will provide psychiatric treatment to mental‑ill patients at the Finan Center. They will also provide on‑call coverage for clinical services, develop patient treatment plans, implement and oversee treatment plans, order tests, and prescribe medication.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Determined by the Maryland State Board of Physicians under the licensing requirements for physicians.
Experience:
As required for certification in psychiatry by the American Medical Association Specialty Board or other board approved by the Maryland Board of Physicians.
Substance abuse testing in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09.
