About the Role

BJC Medical Group is seeking an Outpatient Neurologist to join an established team at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis. Missouri Baptist is a Joint Commission Certificate of Distinction Primary Stroke Center.

Practice Highlights

Join an established group of Neurologists and APPs

Primarily Outpatient role

Providers typically see 15‑18 patients per day

Monday – Friday 8 am‑5 pm

Work life balance

Good mentorship

1:7 weekday call; 1:8 weekend call – No Stroke Call

Candidates who can read EMG or EEG would be a plus

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose : The physician will provide professional medical services within the specialty, conduct direct patient care, maintain records, coordinate care, and collaborate with advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

Manage the medical care of patient panel, arranging inpatient hospital care as needed.

Collaborate with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent outcomes.

Document medical histories and physicals in the medical record as required by bylaws.

Provide or arrange call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage following BJC policies and bylaws.

Collaborate and teach advanced practice providers, support staff, or team members assigned to patients.

Maintain a safety‑sensitive, alert, and safe work environment.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

Doctorate‑Medicine

Experience:

2–5 years preferred; no specific supervisor experience required.

Licenses & Certifications:

Board eligible or board certified in practicing specialty; licensed physician.
