Novant Health Medical Group Heart and Vascular Institute – Elizabeth Surgery, part of Novant Health, seeks a compassionate and caring Cardiac Surgery Advanced Practice Provider in the Charlotte Region to provide primary health care and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians.

What You'll Do Deliver an exceptional patient experience in every dimension and time. Foster teamwork, engagement, and community involvement. Leverage diversity and inclusion in support of quality care. Maintain a safe patient environment driven by “First Do No Harm.”
Hours: 8–5 Mon–Fri. Call responsibilities include one night per week and one weekend per month.
Supporting Locations: Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. No travel required.
Education Master’s Degree required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program required.
Experience
One to three years as a Surgical Advanced Practice Provider required.
One to three years of endoscopic vein harvesting experience preferred.
RNFA required for NP candidates.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
Current PA license in appropriate state required.
NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry required.
ACLS (if infusion center or cardiac specialty) required.
Additional Skills Required
Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing.
Work effectively with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
