Concrete Construction Superintendent – Ground up Commercial

We’re partnered with a well‑established commercial concrete contractor actively delivering complex, high‑profile projects throughout the Washington, DC market. They’re seeking a Senior Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on major structural concrete scopes across mission‑critical and institutional work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead day‑to‑day field operations for large‑scale commercial concrete projects ($10M+)
Oversee all structural concrete activities including foundations, slabs, vertical pours, forming systems, and placement sequencing
Coordinate crews, subcontractors, inspections, and concrete deliveries to maintain schedule and quality
Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations
Work closely with project management teams to drive production, efficiency, and cost control
Maintain detailed field documentation, schedules, and progress reporting
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent on commercial construction projects
Proven experience on data centers, healthcare, education, government, or mixed‑use developments
Track record managing structural concrete scopes on projects valued at $10M+
Strong understanding of formwork systems, rebar, post‑tensioning, and concrete logistics
Ability to lead large crews and keep demanding schedules on track
Experience working in dense urban environments preferred
