Concrete Estimator – Washington, DC
A strong, growing contractor in the DC market is looking for an experienced Concrete Estimator to support preconstruction efforts across major commercial and industrial concrete projects. This is a high‑impact role with a company known for consistent work and a collaborative culture.
What You’ll Do
Prepare detailed estimates for commercial and industrial concrete scopes.
Analyze drawings, specs, and project requirements to create accurate quantity takeoffs.
Develop budgets for foundations, slabs, structural concrete, tilt‑wall, and site concrete.
Work with project management and field teams to refine scopes and pricing.
Assist in bid strategy, subcontractor outreach, and proposal development.
What You Bring
5+ years estimating concrete projects in commercial and/or industrial construction.
Experience supporting $10M+ concrete project budgets.
Strong knowledge of materials, labor, production rates, and cost structure.
Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools.
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with both internal and external partners.
