Role Overview Schwab’s Digital Wealth & Advice Platforms team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to be responsible for developing and implementing a new trading platform experience and integrations to support our digital advice platforms. The Product Manager will coordinate with cross-functional business partners including Agile Scrum teams and will oversee the implementation of a product roadmap that will enhance Schwab’s advised and managed investing offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Schwab’s Trading and other portfolio capabilities with focus on APIs in partnership with senior stakeholders and end users.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other Product Managers in Digital Wealth Platforms, technology leads, and architects.
Build a product roadmap to articulate and drive the priorities.
Create a release plan in coordination with the scrum team and other lines of business.
Manage development efforts and technology scrum teams: writing user stories, refining the backlog, and working with other teams.
Define test plans and acceptance criteria and oversee end-to-end testing.
Provide timely and proactive production support to users.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of product management / product development.
Strong Trading/Portfolio Management within Financial Services.
Experience implementing digital experiences using Agile development practices leading multiple teams as Product Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Wealth Management is preferred.
Knowledge of Schwab products, services, and support systems is a plus.
Working knowledge of Aladdin Integration is a plus.
Bachelor and postgraduate degrees are a plus.
Self-starter with strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills.
A positive attitude, solid work ethic, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to make decisions and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities.
Compensation In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
