Our client is specialty litigation firm seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team on a Temp-Hire basis. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional litigation and transaction results to their clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegals engaged in litigation and transactional matters
- Preparing, editing, and finalizing legal documents and correspondence
- Assisting with client onboarding, including preparation of new matter memoranda and engagement letters
- Managing filings in federal courts
- Maintaining attorney calendars, coordinating meetings, scheduling conference rooms, and arranging travel
- Supporting billing processes, including time entry, proofreading, and preparation of cover letters
- Preparing expense reports and check requests
- Coordinating mailings, deliveries, and copying
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with SurePoint, iManage, and CompuLaw preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, technological proficiency, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative approach
