Podiatrist
Medical Director Services PC is looking for experienced podiatrists to provide care at skilled nursing facilities across Kentucky (additional states available).
Summary Provide professional medical podiatric services to patients with conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and related structures.
Responsibilities
Provide essential at‑risk foot care to the geriatric population.
Diagnose, treat or prescribe treatment of the foot, ankle, and related structures using medical histories, physical exams, x‑rays, and laboratory test results.
Prescribe medications, corrective devices, physical therapy and appropriate foot‑care methods.
Advise patients on foot‑care techniques to prevent future problems.
Record all diagnoses, treatments, and prescriptions.
Refer patients to other physicians or specialists for consultation when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from a school accredited by the Council of Podiatric Medical Education.
Current and valid license to practice podiatric medicine in the state of application.
