Recruiting Manager - 9x Presidents Club / CEO Club My client, a well respected and growing Personal Injury Law Firm based in Newport Beach, is seeking a diligent Personal Injury Case Manager/Paralegal to manage PI caseloads, support attorneys, and ensure smooth case progression from intake to settlement or trial, focusing on client communication, medical management, and litigation support.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Case Management: Intake clients, maintain contact, manage case files (electronic & hardcopy), track treatment, and provide quality client care.
Medical Management: Request, review, and summarize medical records/bills; schedule appointments; obtain referrals; manage liens (Medicare/Medicaid).
Legal Document Support: Draft pleadings (complaints, interrogatories, motions), affidavits, settlement demands, discovery responses, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
Litigation Assistance: Prepare for depositions, trials, and mediations; organize exhibits; research legal publications; schedule proceedings; file documents.
Investigation: Send spoliation letters, obtain witness statements, photos, and police reports; investigate liability.
Negotiation: Assist with settlement discussions, negotiating with providers/adjusters to reduce bills and liens.
Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, adjusters, medical providers, and courts.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a PI paralegal or case manager (1+ years).
Strong understanding of PI law, legal procedures, and state‑specific rules.
Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and common injuries.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time‑management skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with case‑management software and e‑filing.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
