EPC Sales Director – Industrial Lighting & Electrical Solutions Location: Houston, TX (remote but must be Houston, TX-based) Travel: Approximately 25% overnight travel Overview

We are seeking an experienced EPC Sales Director to drive specification influence and project adoption across complex industrial environments. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, capital projects, and technical sales, with a heavy emphasis on EPC relationships, specification engineers, and contractor engagement. You will own a specification strategy within EPC and corporate engineering organizations across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Pulp & Paper, and Water/Wastewater markets. Success in this role comes from hands‑on selling, technical credibility, and the ability to position solutions early in the project lifecycle. What You’ll Do

Drive product specification with assigned EPC firms and corporate engineering groups Influence project outcomes in heavy industrial and hazardous environments Call on specification engineers, project managers, and contractors to create pull‑through demand Partner closely with regional sales leaders, inside sales, and global support teams Build value‑based proposals that differentiate against competitive alternatives Track and manage sales activity, project pipelines, and expenses with discipline Maintain strong working knowledge of market competitors, pricing, and positioning Navigate industrial channels to market, including distributors, when relevant What This Role Requires

8–10+ years of technical specification sales experience in the electrical or industrial space Proven experience selling through EPCs and corporate engineering organizations Direct exposure to capital projects and long‑cycle industrial sales Comfort working with EPC purchasing teams and procurement processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Solid understanding of electrical products and industrial lighting systems Strong presentation skills and executive‑level communication High level of organization and ability to manage multiple active projects Proficiency with CRM tools and standard business software Preferred Background

Technical or engineering degree Experience in quoting and supporting large capital projects Exposure to industrial electrical distribution channels Prior industrial or hazardous‑location product sales experience Familiarity with AGI or similar industrial environments Employment Type
