Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Burnett Therapeutic Services is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide clinical supervision and oversee ABA programs. The position is based in

Santá Clara County – San Jose/Gilroy

and is offered in a hybrid setting that includes in‑home hours and some remote work. Schedule: Monday‑Friday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM PST, with occasional weekend hours.

Pay range

Base salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per year

Sign‑on bonus available

Monthly bonuses for exceeding billable hours

Key Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and implementing ABA programs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or delays.

Collaborating with families and other professionals to tailor ABA programs to each client’s specific needs.

Delivering individual and group learning experiences to help clients achieve treatment goals.

Meeting with, training, and supervising mid‑level supervisors/BCaBAs and direct‑care staff to review progress and consult on implementation.

Conducting assessments, writing treatment goals, analyzing data, and preparing progress reports under the Clinical Director’s supervision.

Administering comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments using standardized tools such as the VB‑MAPP, ABBLS‑R, and Vineland‑III.

Developing and overseeing behavioral plans for children.

Assisting in the development of adaptive skills for individuals to enhance school, home, and community functioning.

Providing behavioral consultation to families and schools.

Supervising ABA programs that promote daily routines, stress coping, play, social interaction, functional communication, task completion, safety awareness, and self‑help skills.

Empowering parents, caregivers, and support staff to influence clients during natural routines for greater independence.

Establishing positive relationships with clients, their families, and supporting staff.

Defining target behaviors, writing treatment goals, and coordinating evidence‑based strategies and interventions.

Modeling and teaching staff how to implement intervention strategies and protocols.

Setting up and maintaining ABA session schedules and managing adjustments or cancellations.

Meeting with families/caregivers via telehealth or in‑clinic on a weekly basis to review progress and consult on treatment plans.

Requirements

Availability for a consistent weekly schedule, including afternoon and evenings.

Ability to travel to clients’ homes throughout the service area.

Eligibility to work in the United States.

Valid California driver’s license (for in‑person/hybrid roles).

Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.

Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.

BCBA certification (certified, valid, and active).
