Your role with us Our Urology Clinic proudly serves patients from across Oregon’s Mid-Willamette Valley, offering the opportunity to build meaningful, ongoing relationships with patients and families in an outpatient setting. As a Clinic Nurse, you will play a vital role in guiding patients through their care journey—conducting thoughtful, age‑appropriate assessments, delivering evidence‑based interventions, and providing clear education that empowers patients to actively participate in their care. Your work directly contributes to improved outcomes, increased patient confidence, and a more coordinated care experience.

What you'll do

Perform accurate, ongoing and age‑appropriate patient assessments incorporating medical, social, cultural and educational factors.

Develop, review and coordinate individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families and the healthcare team.

Deliver evidence‑based nursing interventions and urologic clinical care within scope of practice, provider orders and nursing protocols.

Prioritize patient needs, anticipate risks and respond appropriately to urgent and emergent situations.

Provide patient and family education using appropriate language and methods to support understanding, readiness and self‑care.

Maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation reflecting assessments, interventions, education and patient responses.

Serve as a frontline clinical leader by supporting clinic staff, promoting continuous improvement and maintaining a safe care environment.

Required qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

Registered Nurse license: current, unencumbered licensure to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon.

One year of nursing experience.

Additional information

Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.

Successful applicants will demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology, basic clinical skills and computer and keyboarding proficiency.

Preferred candidate will communicate clearly and constructively in written and verbal formats while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Ideal candidates can exercise sound professional judgment under pressure, including during urgent and emergent situations.

Those who will achieve success in this role exhibit strong organizational, delegation and leadership skills while coordinating care with multidisciplinary and interpretive services.
