What You Will Do
Manage system integrations within the Workday Financial architecture.
Provide support for inbound and outbound Workday integration issues, modify existing integrations, and develop new ones.
Build product definitions and leverage technical skills to drive toward the right solution.
Engage in cross‑functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle.
Lead design sessions and code reviews to elevate engineering quality across the team.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, documentation, and problem resolution.
Translate business and functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.
Collaborate with other teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using Workday tools and technologies.
Design and develop interfaces and conduct unit and integration tests.
Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with recent technologies, and mentoring other engineers.
Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.
What We're Looking For
Experience developing new and enhancing existing Workday integrations, PRISM lineages, and Accounting Center processes.
Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST).
Strong technical experience with XML and XSLT.
Knowledge of Workday development tools: Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, BIRT.
Experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions for complex integrations.
Expertise creating complex calculated fields.
Experience developing scalable, resilient, and highly available systems.
Advanced understanding of monitoring concepts and tooling.
Experience architecting and designing new and current systems.
Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real‑time communication).
Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow‑up and resolution.
Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.
Experience Required
4+ years of professional software development experience within the Workday ecosystem.
3+ years of experience with architecture and design.
2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
Annual Salary $100,000.00 – $215,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education, training, work location, and market and business considerations, are taken into account when determining the final offer.
