Full Time, Nights – Alternating Weekends Overview

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic results and symptomatology. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Responsibilities

Deliver safe patient care using nursing process Provide direct patient care within scope of practice Direct and guide patient/family teaching Guide activities of other nursing personnel Maintain standards of care in Telemetry Unit Communicate with physicians about changes in clinical condition Respond to changes in condition and/or response to treatment Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred Ventilator Management experience preferred Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Pay Transparency

Competitive compensation $35.35 to $53.58 + benefits. Exact starting compensation determined at time of selection. Employment Status
