Position: The Department of Finance at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part‑Time Lecturer Pool. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions become available and are expected to begin on very short notice.

MBA, Master’s Degree, ABD, PhD in Finance or related field, or equivalent experience
Prior university‑level teaching experience
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse student body, including first‑generation college students
Business practice experience in relevant fields is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Significant teaching experience with diverse populations and a collaborative, inclusive classroom environment
Current, ongoing full‑time professional experience in the field

Appointment & Salary All appointments are made as Lecturers for one semester, with terms often announced just before the academic term. Initial appointments are for one semester only. Compensation (not to exceed $6,221 per month) is prorated by units worked and paid in six monthly payments for a full semester. A three‑unit assignment typically ranges from $6,608.40 to $7,465.20 per semester.
Appointment Dates and Academic Calendar Part‑time faculty are most needed in the Fall and Spring semesters. The Fall term runs from late August to mid‑December; the Spring term from mid‑January to the end of May. Rare opportunities may arise during Summer Sessions.
Mandatory Reporter Position holders are mandated reporters under California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and must comply with CSU Executive Order 1083.
