Position Summary:

The HR Coordinator provides critical administrative support, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient employee onboarding experience and maintaining the integrity of Human Resources (HR) systems and records. Responsible for coordinating pre-employment activities, ensuring accurate Human Resource Information System (HRIS) data management, and supporting HR operations through a variety of administrative tasks. Uphold confidentiality standards, collaborate across departments, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support organizational goals.

Status: Full-time, Exempt Location: Omaha, NE - Corporate Office | On-Site

Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding Support: Complete pre-employment screening including criminal background checks. Initiate new employee onboarding process and ensure completion of new hire documents. Conduct follow-up on incomplete and pending items to ensure deadlines are met.
  • HRIS Support: Ensure accurate HRIS data entry with critical attention to detail and a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports. Audit HRIS regularly to maintain accurate Organizational Chart. Maintain and update HRIS records, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Preserve high standards of confidentiality of all employee information.
  • Ensure Compliance: Complete I-9 forms and E-Verify processes, ensuring compliance with federal law.
  • HR Support: Perform administrative and support activities for the HR department. Collaborate across departments on various projects.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) required
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, communications, business or other related field OR equivalent experience
  • Minimum of one year of administrative experience in a fast-paced, highly detail-oriented role
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology & software required
  • Ability to maintain an extremely high attention to detail & accuracy required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive material required
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and independence required
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Working HRIS knowledge, Paycom experience preferred
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience preferred
  • PHR or SHRM certification preferred
