Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr Responsibilities Interpret fund agreements to determine impact on financial reporting and partner capital accounting requirements Prepare journal entries for equity funds managed by the firm’s fund accounting software Prepare hypothetical waterfall calculations to ensure the income allocated between the investors and general partner is accurate Prepare fund level financial statements including balance sheet, schedule of investments, income statement, statement of changes in partners’ capital and cash flows Prepare required footnotes to financial statements Prepare management fee computations Prepare capital calls and distributions, including fund waterfall calculation Prepare projected fund level cash flows and fund performance reporting Respond to limited partner inquiries and additional ad-hoc requests Prepare required deliverables for year‑end financial statement audits Requirements At least three years of prior experience that demonstrates a progression of responsibility Prior audit experience within the financial services group of a public accounting firm of recognized national standing and/or prior experience with private equity partnership accounting and allocations (including carried interest) is preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA or progress toward preferred Seniority level Associate Employment type Full‑time Job function Accounting / Auditing Industries: Accounting, Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals, and Investment Management Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Paid paternity leave Paid maternity leave Tuition assistance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at First Recruiting, LLC by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
