Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere in our Bagel shop and ensuring that customers have a positive dining experience.

Duties

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assist with cleaning and stocking to enhance customer engagement and promote sales.
• Engage in upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance customer experience.
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves and ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked.
• Perform stocking duties to replenish inventory as needed throughout the store.
• Utilize basic math skills for cash handling, including making change and balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Adhere to phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries via phone.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or fast food store environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with cashiering responsibilities, including cash handling and basic math skills.
