The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Montague that are seeking Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Design, develop, and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production requirements. Conduct root cause analysis for production issues, implement corrective actions, and preventative measures. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process flows. Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing manufacturing processes, validating equipment, and training personnel. Implement Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and resolve production challenges. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling and fixture design. Demonstrated application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with manufacturing process development, optimization, and automation.
