Job Description Job Description Manufacturing Engineer | Norton Shores, MI Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience Are you a forward-thinking professional with a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes and improving production efficiency? The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality. Design, procure, and implement manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and equipment. Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing robust production methods and validating processes. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, implementing root cause corrective actions. Create and update manufacturing documentation, including SOPs and work instructions. Analyze production data to monitor performance and identify areas for process enhancement. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process improvement and optimization. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for fixture design and process layout. Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, or other continuous improvement tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
