Legal Counsel – Workers’ Compensation Defense (Remote; must be licensed in California)
Base Pay Range $130,000.00/yr - $195,000.00/yr
About the Firm Our client runs a Workers Comp Defense Firm that represents clients in employment, workers’ compensation, and insurance subrogation matters.
Responsibilities / Experience
Workers’ compensation defense
Subrogation
Wrongful termination defense
Serious and willful defense
Professional athlete injury defense
Workers’ compensation fraud claims
Workers’ compensation insurance coverage
Longshore and Harbor workers’ compensation
Benefits & Compensation
Billing bonus structure
Resolution bonus structure
Vacation credit policy (toward bonus)
Annual review and raises
1 & Done interviews
Remote (anywhere in the US if licensed in CA)
Requirements Licensed in California; relevant experience in workers’ compensation and related areas as listed above.
