Associate Director Of Undergraduate Admission Responsible for leading undergraduate student recruitment efforts, developing and executing recruitment strategies across assigned regions, supporting a team of admission officers, and tracking enrollment metrics to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

Analyze enrollment trends across all territories to develop strategies aligned with university goals.

Recommend process improvements to executive leadership and develop national recruitment plans.

Manage, train, and develop a team of admission counselors; evaluate ROI on travel and recruiting expenses.

Recruit students within a small territory, providing support from inquiry to enrollment.

Meet yearly enrollment goals for assigned territory.

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a student-centered attitude.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support recruitment and enrollment.

Qualifications

Master’s preferred; Bachelor’s required in any field.

10+ years of undergraduate admissions experience.

5+ years of managerial experience.

Deep understanding of the admission cycle, application review, student recruitment, and industry metrics.

Experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives and planning recruitment travel.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Technolutions Slate and Workday Student preferred.

Valid driver’s license and passport; willing to travel weekdays and weekends.

Effective communication with high school students, parents, and guidance counselors.

Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Technical proficiency with Technolutions Slate.

Work Environment

In-person, no hybrid or remote options.

Located on Howard University main campus.

40 hours per week; weekends and evenings as needed.

Approx. 40% travel during certain months.

Salary Range Expected Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000
