Job Juncture
We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager with a growing CPA firm in the East Valley. This role will report to, and work closely with Tax Partners & Senior Managers, where you will be responsible for supervising & mentoring a small team as well as reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Individuals, and Tax-Exempt Organizations. This is a great opportunity for a Tax Manager that wants to grow to the Partner level.
Base salary for this role is $140,000-$175,000.
Qualifications
Batchelor’s degree in accounting required. Master’s degree in Tax a plus
10+ years of tax experience in public accounting, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Direct responsibility for reviewing and signing federal and multi-state tax returns
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others
Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships through proactive service
High level of technical tax knowledge with ability to research and resolve complex issues
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax law and industry changes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to adapt to new technologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including direct client communications
Experience with CCH Axcess and ProSystems Engagement preferred
