FactSet's MESH 2 Week Externship - Software Engineering

The FactSet MESH program brings together different ideas, backgrounds and people with a common interest in the financial technology (FinTech) industry. We are looking for talented, hard‑working, out‑of‑the‑box thinkers interested in learning what it is like to be a Software Engineer in FinTech.
The paid externship runs from May 11, 2026 through May 22, 2026 in the Norwalk, CT office.
During this 2‑week externship you will
Attend trainings on a variety of technologies
Participate in professional development workshops focused on effective communication, presentation skills, resume writing, networking and mock interviewing
Build networking skills by connecting with FactSetters across various teams
Enhance collaboration skills by competing in a coding challenge with fellow externs and FactSet Engineers
Network with diverse FactSet professionals and members of our Black, Latinx, Pride, and Women’s Employee Resource Groups
Meet members of FactSet’s Executive Team to learn about their leadership journeys
Learn about FactSet’s industry, core products, our clients, and the various teams within Engineering
Upon successful completion of the program, externs graduating in May 2028 will be eligible to receive an offer for our 12‑week Software Engineering Internship program in the summer of 2027.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Undergraduates graduating between December 2027 and May 2028
Experience and/or interest in learning full‑stack web development, C++, C#, or other OOP languages
Excited about problem solving
Ability to work independently while also being a great team player
Positive, can‑do attitude
