Job Description Classification Title: CLIN AST/ASO PROF
The University of Florida Department of Emergency Medicine – Jacksonville is recruiting a board certified or board eligible medical toxicologist to join our Faculty and to lead the development of a Medical Toxicology Fellowship. Clinical assignments include shifts in general emergency medicine at our community sites, involvement in the clinical toxicology consult service, and the Florida/USVI Poison Information Center – Jacksonville. Additional opportunities include participation in medical toxicology resident/fellow/student rotations and conducting or assisting with research studies (government, foundation, and industry sponsored). Successful candidates will receive academic appointments as either a Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor. Qualified candidates must be ABEM/ABOEM board eligible or certified.
Expected Salary Academic appointment will commensurate with training and level of experience; benefits are excellent.
Required Qualifications
MD/DO degree
Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine
