C2H (3-month contract, with conversion to full-time with CriticalRiver)

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Salesforce Solution Architect

with strong expertise in

Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA)

to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-impact Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic advisor and technical leader, driving end-to-end architecture across Quote-to-Cash processes while aligning business objectives with Salesforce best practices.

Compensation

Base pay range:

$170.00/yr - $190.00/yr

Salary Range:

$170,000 – $190,000 base salary (California market)

Responsibilities

Lead

end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture

with a primary focus on

CPQ and Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA)

implementations.

Serve as a

CPQ & RCA Subject Matter Expert (SME) , guiding discovery, solution design, and delivery teams.

Translate complex business requirements into

scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce architectures .

Design and optimize

Quote-to-Cash processes , including product modeling, pricing, discounting, approvals, billing, and revenue recognition.

Architect

data models, automation frameworks, and workflows

supporting sales and revenue operations.

Design and oversee

system integrations

using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or other middleware platforms.

Partner with business stakeholders, Sales, Pre-Sales, and Delivery teams to support

estimations, solution reviews, and client presentations .

Define and enforce

Salesforce best practices , governance standards, and

CI/CD DevOps pipelines

(Copado, Gearset, etc.).

Develop

technical roadmaps, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and reusable solution components .

Provide

technical leadership, mentoring, and enablement

for Salesforce consultants and developers.

Support

Agile/Scrum delivery

through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.

Qualifications

8+ years of overall Salesforce experience with

5+ years in Salesforce CPQ architecture and implementation .

Strong hands-on experience with

Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) .

Proven experience delivering

complex CPQ and Quote-to-Cash solutions

in enterprise environments.

Deep knowledge of

product configuration, pricing rules, advanced approvals, and billing processes .

Strong understanding of

Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

architecture.

Hands-on experience with

custom development, integrations, and AppExchange solutions .

Experience working in

Agile/Scrum environments

using Jira or similar tools.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
