Neurosurgeons Needed in Central Arkansas with Baptist Health Baptist Health Medical Center - Little Rock (BHMC‑LR) is recruiting board‑eligible or board‑certified neurosurgeons to join a high‑volume neurosurgery practice serving Central Arkansas. This opportunity spans three hospitals across the region: BHMC‑Little Rock, BHMC‑North Little Rock, and BHMC‑Conway.

Hospital System & Clinical Excellence BHMC‑Little Rock: An 850‑bed tertiary care center, designated as both a Stroke Center of Excellence and a Spine Center of Excellence.

Supported by BHMC‑North Little Rock (225 beds) and BHMC‑Conway (120 beds; opened in 2016).

Metro area population of 900,000 with a combined referral base of more than 2,000,000.

Our neurosurgery group currently includes four neurosurgeons and three dedicated neurointerventionalists specializing in stroke and vascular malformations. This integrated team structure provides comprehensive cranial, vascular, and spine coverage across the system.

The neurosurgical service performs thousands of cases annually, including:

Complex skull base surgery for tumor, acoustic neuroma, Chiari decompression, and transsphenoidal pituitary surgery

Cerebrovascular procedures including aneurysm clipping, cavernomas and AVM management with endovascular support

Primary and metastatic CNS tumor resection

Spine deformity, tumors, and degenerative conditions

Cranial and spine trauma

The system is equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technologies, including neuronavigation, minimally invasive and robot‑assisted platforms (Mazor X), O‑arm technology, advanced 3T/functionalMRI, and comprehensive intraoperative neuromonitoring systems, Storz microscopes and endoscopes.
