Cross Country Locums
- Work Dates Needed: ASAP - ongoing (prefers 6 months, but the longer the better)
- Preferred Schedule: 40 hours - We are looking for shifts Monday-Friday. Hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm - wants FTE hours.
- Worksite Setting: Psychiatrist-Medical Director for our Forensic Services System of Care. We are seeking a psychiatrist with demonstrated leadership experience in correctional settings (jail or prison) or even in hospital-based psychiatric care. This individual will play a key role in clinical oversight, strategic planning, and ensuring high standards of psychiatric care. All work takes place within the jail inmate housing units and clinic (outpatient).
- Scope of Work: 100% adults, 12-15 patients per day. Combination of initial visits for assessment and ongoing renewals. NO TELE MEDICINE. County will not allow. provider must have Correctional experience with Forensic population in and out of custody
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active CA license, must be computer literate, correctional or/and county jail experience, Board certified, DEA, & BLS
- EMR: Clinicians Gateway & must have dictation skills
