Facility in South Bend, IN seeking Infectious Disease locums coverage Rates: $200/hr Position Details

• Start Date:
  February 2025
• Schedule:
• 24-hour shifts (8:00 AM 8:00 AM).
• Covers both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
• Call ratio: 4:1.

Practice Overview

• Practice Setting:
  Outpatient Clinic and Hospital-based consultative care.
• Patient Demographics:
• 100% adult patients, 25% geriatric.
• patients per day (can spike to 30 during COVID).
• Conditions Managed:
• HIV/AIDS, MRSA, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, septic joint, meningitis, diabetic foot infections, bacteremia, and abscesses.
• Team:
• 3 physicians and 1 NP within the group.
• Participation in Infection Prevention, Infection Control, and Sepsis Programs/Committees.
• Support:
• EMR: Epic (must have Epic experience).

Requirements

• Certification:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) Required.
• Active BLS Required.
• Licensure:
• Active Indiana License Required at submission.
• Experience:
• Must be comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Preferred:
  Local candidates within driving distance.
