This facility is part of a comprehensive healthcare system serving the Duluth area. The Orthopedic department features a team-focused, collaborative environment with 15 physicians, 10 advanced practice clinicians, and 35 additional staff members. The facility embraces a learning culture while treating a diverse patient population.
Opportunity: NP/PA - Orthopedics Surgery
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position working with a collaborative orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedics and surgery, contributing to both clinic and hospital settings.
Job Details:
- Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills
- Work independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Provide patient care emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention
- Monday-Friday schedule, 40-hour work week
- 60% clinic work, 40% hospital work
- Estimated 15 office patients per day
- Approximately 6-8 procedures per week
- Inpatient responsibilities 2-4 times per week
- Participation in call rotation
- Requires Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Minnesota
- National certification in applicable area and current CPR certification
